Glen’s experience with dancing began in high school when he participated in Cotillion, as well as Tap and Acrobatics. Although Glen studied to become a computer programmer, he worked part-time with Arthur Murray in Greensboro, NC from 1972 to 1976--becoming a studio manager in 1977 with the Arthur Murray Dance School in Richmond, VA. In 1982, he became the General Manager for two Arthur Murray Dance schools in California.From 1982 to 2002, Glen owned and operated Arthur Murray schools in Cailifornia, Oregon, Georgia and England.Glen served as District Director in Northern California and served on the Regional Dance Board for the West Coast area from 1995 to 2002, at which time he retired from Franchised Operations and Arthur Murray studios.
In 2003, Glen began his career as a Business Consultant and advisor to numerous Dance studios in the USA, specializing in Marketing, Studio Operations, Sales Concepts and Dance training. Over his professional career, Glen has earned many awards in Dance, including Sales and National Allstar awards.The dance studios he operated earned several ‘Studio of the Year’ awards as well as ‘Awards in Excellence’.Outside of his professional Dance career, Glen loves to just go dancing – his personal favorite is the Argentine Tango. Well-trained, he dances most social dance styles, including Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Country and Night-Club Two.In his spare time Glenn loves trout fishing, cooking and traveling the USA and Canada.Glenn now serves as an advisor to the AAIBP.
